		<description>The piece you have is probably made in 1944 based on the Union Label.  The style matches that of kitchens from the 1940s.  The hardware is original and is bakelite.  The wood is most likely poplar.  As kitchens expanded to more than just the Hoosier cabinet of the 20s, more space was needed and a cabinet such as yours was used to house dinnerware.</description>

		<description>Thanks so much for the link.  I sent in the info but I am unsure if the piece will meet the $500.00 min requirement in order for them to send out an appraisal. I will keep my fingers crossed that it does.  In the meantime maybe someone else will come up with some information on it.   Thanks for posting the link!
